The groups in this N Central Pa region try to use the same day every month for consistency, and to avoid conflicts with nearby groups:

  • 1st Saturday -- Williamsport SAM
  • 2nd Sunday -- Berwick OASIS
  • 3rd Friday -- Williamsport SOS
  • 4th Friday -- Wellsboro WSC
  • 4th Sunday -- Hazleton SOAR

This web page currently lists dance dates for "participating" non-profit North Central Pa Singles groups:

where "participating" is defined as:
  • the group emails me the dates/times/locations that they want publicized on this web page
  • the group RECIPROCATES my efforts -- by including a small note "Dance dates on SinglesDances.net" in their newsletter or schedule
  • the group notifies me by email ASAP whenever a date changes

Browse archived messages on the email announcement system -- the Track2 DanceNet Yahoo Listserver for possible additional dance news.

Everyone may use the Listserver:

This Yahoo Listserver is available for ANY group to make legitimate singles (or ballroom) announcements for the North Central Pennsylvania area. Groups who choose not to participate in the publicity exchange mentioned above, are still welcome to use the Listserver to send announcements.

Reason why everyone may use the Listserver:

Groups can send their own messages and updates on the Listserver, without causing me much additional expenditure of money or time.

The reason I request the publicity exchange for the web page listings, is because it costs me time money and money to maintain the web pages. And updating the information on the web pages is a waste of time, unless the groups inform people about the web pages.
