1. About Parish House Dance Parish House Dance is operated as a non-profit fund-raising operation by Pastor Erwin Roux (aka 'PR') and his wife Beth, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Turbotville, Pennsysvania. All funds raised are donated to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal. Since dance lessons began about 1998, approximately $30,000 has been raised and donated to the World Hunger Appeal. As PR might say, "Here's the deal . . . we'll either teach you to dance, or eliminate world hunger, whichever happens first".

2. Dances Offered Beginner and sometimes intermediate lessons are offered in the following dances: Cha-Cha East Coast Swing Fox Trot Meringue Rumba Samba Tango Waltz On special occasions, classes in 3 and 4-count Hustle and West Coast Swing have also been offered.

3. Schedule & Registration Information Classes typically run on Friday evenings for a 5 week courses: 7 pm to 8 pm for the 1st class 8 pm to 9 pm for the second class. Courses are not held during the summer months. The registration charge is $25 per person for each 5 week course. This is $5 per night -- or $10 per night if you take both courses. Courses must be purchased in $25 increments. If you miss a night, you can make it up at a later date in any class. You must register by calling (570) 649-5195.
