When I get pictures sent to me in my e-mail, I can't open them to see them. I can download them and save them to a download folder but I can't open them. I don't know how to use winzip, trial time is over, just at a loss as to how to open them. I used to be able to open my pictures from my e-mail right away, not anymore. I never used to need winzip before for anything. Is this a program I should delete? Thanks, hope you can condense what I have said or understood what I am trying to explain.

My question I would like to know is about Zipped files.   When to compress them and how.

Here are a couple of questions that I have that I think will be of interest to all of the students:

1. We are now teaching our classes in Windows XP. Many of our students have an ealier version. Can they upgrade their computers to XP? Is there a minimum memory requirement or Pentium # for the processor that is needed?

2. When we download things from the internet, where do they go - especially pictures. Sometimes they are in My Documents, Sometimes MyPictures, sometimes just on the C drive and sometimes they just disappear. Sometimes there is a choice, such as download to: but sometimes not. HELP!
