Test Listserver

A. Overview Explanation: There is a separate "Test Listserver" available for practice. You can practice sending messages to this dummy practice Listserver, before you post to the real Listserver. This Track2-Test Listserver operates essentially the same as the real Track2 Listservers -- or any Yahoo istserver allowing html & attachments. The only difference is that you and a few other "testers" are the only ones who are subscribed and getting the messages.

B. Test Listserver For Practicing (Optional) To browse Messages, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Track2Test Subscribing Subscribing Send an empty email (no subject, no body) to . . . . Track2Test-subscribe@yahoogroups.com . . [ help ] Make sure you reply to the "request for confirmation" message. There will be a time DELAY until the Moderator approves your request (to keep out Spammers) You will automatically have "unmoderated posting privileges" as soon as you are subscribed. Posting Post Message: . . . Track2Test@yahoogroups.com Verifying The Message Whenever you send a test message, you should do the following 2 actions to VERIFY the Listserver "broadcast" it: Check that you received a copy of that email back from the Listserver. It will be identified by the subject tag [Track2Test] There may be a DELAY between when you send your message to the Listserver, and when you receive your copy back, ranging anywhere between a few minutes and up to half a day if the internet is overloaded.
